Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This site sets no cookies of its own. To work it stores two entries in your browser and, only after you consent, it loads third-party tools that may set cookies of their own. Here are the details.

1. Technical storage (always active)

These are not cookies: they are two localStorage entries, browser memory that is never sent to any server. They deliver a service you asked for, so they do not require consent.

Name Type Purpose Duration
sy-theme localStorage Remembers the light or dark theme you chose Until you clear the site data in your browser
sy-consent localStorage Remembers the choice you made on the cookie banner Until you clear the site data in your browser

2. Analytics cookies: Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how the site is used. Clarity records sessions: pointer movement, clicks and page scrolling are replayed as a video, alongside pages viewed and scroll depth. It is the most intrusive processing on this site, which is why it only starts after your explicit consent: if you refuse, the script is never even loaded and none of these cookies is set.

Name Type Purpose
_clck First-party Persists the Clarity user ID and preferences for this site
_clsk First-party Connects multiple page views into a single session recording
CLID Third-party Identifies the first time Clarity saw this browser on any site using Clarity
ANONCHK Third-party Indicates whether MUID is transferred to ANID, an advertising cookie Clarity does not use
MR Third-party Indicates whether to refresh MUID
MUID Third-party Identifies the browser across Microsoft sites, for advertising, analytics and operational purposes
SM Third-party Synchronizes MUID across Microsoft domains

Microsoft does not publish how long these cookies last: the up-to-date list is in the official Clarity cookie documentation .

3. Third-party cookies

The Team page embeds two external contents from two distinct providers: the Instagram feed, hosted by Meta, and an Elfsight widget with the LinkedIn feed. Each may set its own cookies under its own policy. Neither loads on its own: a placeholder stands in their place and the content only arrives if you accepted on the banner or click the load button.

The "Request a free test" form is hosted by Tally and lives inside an iframe: opening it may set Tally's own technical cookies, needed to make the form work. Tally states it only uses essential cookies but publishes neither their names nor their durations, so we do not list them here: its cookie policy is the authoritative source. This iframe does not load on its own either: it only arrives when you open the form window, that is after you click "Request a free test".

4. Manage your preferences

You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page: it reopens the banner and lets you choose again.

You can also delete already stored cookies and site data from your browser settings (usually under Privacy, or Cookies and site data). Clearing sintropy.ai data also removes the two localStorage entries listed above: the theme goes back to the default and the banner reappears.
