ProtonAiR · Wireless environmental sensor
Temperature, humidity and CO₂ in food production.
ProtonAiR is the Sintropy wireless environmental sensor. It runs on a rechargeable battery, connects to the site WiFi and is up in five minutes. Readings reach EOS in real time; when a value leaves the set range, an alert goes out.
- Rechargeable battery, 2–4 years
- 5-minute setup
- No wiring
The fee
Pricing: three devices, one monthly fee each
One ProtonAiR for every room you want to follow. QuarkAiR tags on single points: a tank, a cold room, a silo.
ProtonAiR
€20 / per sensor, per month
Temperature, humidity and CO₂. WiFi, BLE, real-time MQTT; about 15 m of coverage. Acts as the gateway for the site’s QuarkAiR tags.
ProtonAiR ULR
€25 / per sensor, per month
The same sensor, plus LoRa / LoRaWAN®: up to 1 km in open field, about 300 m across buildings and machinery.
QuarkAiR tag
€8 / per tag, per month
Temperature and humidity of a single point: tank, cold room, aging room. Talks to the ProtonAiR over BLE.
Prices exclude VAT, base API included in every fee. Device on loan, EOS platform, alarms, OTA updates and support are included. Connectivity is not included: ProtonAiR uses the site WiFi and the ULR version the customer’s LoRaWAN® network; where there is none, one or more Sintropy gateways are added, depending on the size of the spaces, at a separate fee. Atmospheric pressure on request.

ProtonAiR technical specifications
ProtonAiR runs on a rechargeable battery and needs no wiring. It also collects the QuarkAiR tags installed on site.
- Measures
- T · RH · CO₂ temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide; atmospheric pressure on request
- Battery
- 2–4 years rechargeable; lifetime depends on the configuration
- Connectivity
- WiFi · BLE about 15 m of coverage over WiFi; the ULR version adds LoRa / LoRaWAN®
- Data
- MQTT real time, with the base API included in the fee
- Gateway
- QuarkAiR collects the site’s temperature and humidity tags over BLE
- Setup
- 5 min plug and play; OTA updates

Compatible with the standard
The LoRa / LoRaWAN® radio is the one in the ProtonAiR ULR version. The base version transmits over WiFi.
The platform
Monitoring in EOS: alerts and history for every room
Every ProtonAiR sends its readings to EOS. A value outside the set range triggers an alert.
- Temperature, humidity and CO₂ of every room, updated in real time.
- Ranges set per room.
- Alert by email or WhatsApp, naming the room and the value out of range.
- History you can browse and export; base API included.
The rooms
Where it is used: wineries, mills, pasta plants, dairies
Fermentation
Fermentation temperature and CO₂ in closed rooms, measured continuously. One sensor per room, one tag per tank.
Drying and storage
Temperature and humidity in the drying room, silo and warehouse. The history of every batch stays in EOS.
Aging and proofing
One QuarkAiR tag per room logs temperature and humidity. If the values leave the range, an alert goes out.
CO₂ in rooms where people work
ProtonAiR measures CO₂ and alerts when it rises. It is not a certified detector and does not replace the safety devices required by law.
How to start
Setup in three steps
It arrives configured
Sensors and tags are already linked to your EOS account. No installation to schedule.
Place it and switch it on
ProtonAiR connects to the site WiFi and is up in five minutes. No cable: it runs on a rechargeable battery.
Set the ranges
Define the limits for each room. From then on, alerts go out on their own.
The trial kit starts with a single room.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about ProtonAiR
Does ProtonAiR work without company WiFi?
The base version connects to the site WiFi, with about 15 m of coverage. Where WiFi does not reach, the ULR version transmits over LoRa / LoRaWAN®: up to 1 km in open field, about 300 m across buildings and machinery.
How is ProtonAiR powered, and how long does the battery last?
By a rechargeable battery. It lasts 2 to 4 years depending on the configuration. No outlet and no wiring needed.
Does the CO₂ sensor count as a safety detector?
No. ProtonAiR measures the CO₂ in the room and alerts when it rises, but it is not a certified device and does not replace the detectors and procedures required by law for hazardous rooms.
Whose data is it, and can it be exported?
Yours. You view it in EOS, export it and take it into your own systems with the base API included in the fee.
