Industrial monitoring, without running a single cable

When an overhead crane stops, production underneath it stops too. Gruppo Gaser was looking for a way to notice in advance that something was changing in the machine's behavior, before it turned into downtime.

We installed Gravion on the overhead cranes: it reads vibrations and flags deviations from normal operation, so maintenance gets scheduled instead of suffered.

What won the client over, though, was how simple the installation was: no cables to run, no preparatory work, no plant to shut down to fit the sensor on a machine working at height.

In a biobank, temperature isn't just one parameter among many: it is the sample itself. A refrigerator drifting overnight can compromise years of research.

We continuously monitor more than fifty refrigerators and the institute's biobank, across the full working range: from the +4 °C of the refrigerators to the −80 °C of the ultra-low freezers.

The monitoring is wireless, so it required no room cabling and no changes to the existing equipment, and alarms go out in real time: whoever is on duty knows that a door was left open or a temperature is climbing while there is still time to act.
