How Gruppo KOS controls the climate room by room
A ProtonAiR in every room, integrated with Siemens Desigo.
In every room we installed a ProtonAiR sensor, measuring temperature, humidity and CO₂. The data flows into the Siemens Desigo system already in place at the facilities, which we integrated with.
CO₂ is the key to everything: from its trend we can tell whether a room is occupied, and we modulate the indoor units accordingly, continuously. No building work, no changes to the heating plants.
We started with the Cassina de' Pecchi and Mestre facilities, and we are extending the project to the rest of the group's network.
