Our story
How Sintropy was born
Sintropy was founded by five partners from the Engineering & Technology department of Centro Medico Santagostino, one of Italy's largest private healthcare groups. The founders, with a mixed background in construction and biomedical engineering, built up their experience in sensing, medical device automation and data analysis.
Hence the vision that gave the company its name: Sintropy, the opposite of entropy, bringing order to clients in terms of efficiency, data quality and automation.
Today Sintropy has closed a €1 million round with MAIA VC and Genera Imprese, after a year of bootstrapped growth, and has grown from 4 to 16 people.
